Over 500 Students Join Chiromo in 2018 September Intake

First years Biometric registration capturing finger print, student photo and document scanning, at the College of Biological and Physical Sciences

At least 561 freshers have joined the College of Biological and Physical Sciences, University of Nairobi.

The Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education 2017 candidates, have been absorbed in the four schools of the College, with the most number of students registered under Physical Sciences courses.

The 561 represents 60% of the expected students’ intake in September 2018.

The students have been enrolled at the School of Computing and Informatics, School of Mathematics, School of Biological Sciences and School of Physical Sciences.

Registration is still ongoing and more students are expected to join the College in the course of the week, from 10-14th September 2018. First year classes will commence from next week on Monday, September 17, 2018.

College of Biological and Physical Sciences (CBPS) is among the six constituent Colleges of UoN, teaching Physical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Computing and Informatics, Climate Change, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics and Mathematics courses, both undergraduate and graduate level.

Other Colleges in UoN include: College of Architecture and Engineering, College of Education and External Studies, College of Health Sciences, College of Humanities and Social Sciences, College of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences.
