Elias Ndaru, a Bachelor of Science Industrial Chemistry student, emerged the best student at the University of Nairobi 51st graduation ceremony held on 29th August 2014. This is the second time in a row that the College is producing yet, another best student.
Elias who gratefully thanked his parents, siblings, his community, Student Organization - Main Campus Christian Union, the Government of Kenya and the Department of Chemistry, charged other students to always picture success no matter how badly things may be at any present moment.
In his speech, Ndaru reiterated Abdul Kamal’s words that, excellence is a continuous process and not an accident. He also urged students to cooperate with University staff during their studies, adding that hard work and prayer would take the students far.
During the 49th graduation ceremony in 2013, the best student came from School of Mathematics, Juma Victor Ogesa.
