Dr Beth Kiratu  was one of the 61 who were awarded a PhD in the recent concluded graduation. She was awarded doctorate in Pure Mathematics,becoming the first in wowan to attain this honour from the University of Nairobi. Her thesis focused on spectral properties of operators in Hilbert spaces.

The Centre for Biotechnology and Bioinformatics (CEBIB) Curricula Review Committee is in the process of concluding reviewing of curricula for the masters programmes offered at the Centre. The curricula review process was initiated earlier this year. The process engaged inputs from stakeholders in the industry, students, alumni, collaborators among other stakeholders. The reviewed curricula are designed to ensure that learners benefit from the current trends in the fields of biotechnology and bioinformatics. The centre remains committed in offering quality educational and related services to our clients.
